EYFS Staff

The staff in our Nursery class:

Mrs Burridge: Specialist EYFS Higher Level Teaching Assistant

I love being in nursery and my favourite things to do are reading stories and singing and dancing, I also love painting and getting messy with the nursery children.

Outside of nursery I am married  to Steven and am mum to two BIG children. I am Nana to 4 grand children and love nothing more than family time... it's the best and the most important thing in the world, making memories with the people you love.

Mrs Middleton: Nursery Teaching Assistant

My favourite things to do with the children in nursery, are reading stories (I still read stories to my children every night) and being creative. I love seeing what the children can make using bits and bobs.

Outisde of nursery, I live with my husband Tom, my two children and Ralph our dog. I love nothing more than going on adventures with my family, whatever the weather. We go on lots of walks and bike rides, and we love finding new places to have fun and make memories!

The staff in our Reception class:

Mrs Oldham: EYFS Leader and Reception Class Teacher

My main role here at St Mary's is the EYFS Leader which I absolutely love. Working with the little members of our school brings about such awe and wonder to each day, every day is different! I love to get involved in school life, including leading the GIFT Team which is a huge privilege for me. It's great to work with such passionate children who have a heart for the Catholic life of our school! In class, my favourite activity to do with the children is Art! I love getting messy and seeing what wonderful creations we can come up with together!
Outside of school, I am a Mummy of 2 young children - Oliver and Thea and I'm married to Mr Oldham. I love going out for adventures in the woods with my family and taking my children swimming, even though I find the big slides super scary. I also enjoy going on bike rides too!

Mrs Rowley: EYFS Cover Teaching Assistant and Reception Teaching Assistant

I am Mrs Rowley and my favourite subject is maths. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family.

Mrs Plant: EYFS Cover Teaching Assistant and Forest School Leader

My favourite place in the school is the outdoors, It’s great to help children engage with their learning! I love to see their interaction with the natural environment both in roleplay and in art. I enjoy using song and dance with the children as well as playing silly games to help them develop their vocabulary.
Away from the school, I like going for walks and exploring the canals. At home I love to cook and try new dishes as well as spending time in my garden.
